1. Acceptance & Binding Agreement
By creating an account on the Mudda Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept all terms, you may not use the platform. These terms are binding on you and apply globally.
2. User Eligibility
Age Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 13 years old
- 13–17 Years: Parental consent required via email verification
- 18+ Years: Full access to all platform features
Account Eligibility: You must not create accounts if:
- You are under 13 years old
- You are banned from the platform for violations
- You are from a country under international sanctions
3. Account Registration & Use
3.1 Your Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate information during signup
- Protect your password (change regularly, don't share)
- Do not share your account with others
- Do not use automated tools (bots, scrapers, automation scripts)
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
3.2 Account Types:
- Personal Account: Self-profile (verified or anonymous)
- Organizational Account: For groups with 10+ members
- Anonymous Account: Limited features, no public identity
- Leadership Account: Special moderator functions
4. Your Rights & License
4.1 Content Ownership:
You retain full copyright and ownership of all content you create (posts, comments, media, debates).
4.2 License to Mudda:
By posting on Mudda, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Host and display your content
- Store, backup, and archive your content
- Use your content for analytics (anonymized)
- Moderate and enforce our policies
License Duration: This license survives even after you delete your account (for archival purposes).
4.3 Attribution:
We will credit your posts where visible (name, avatar). You cannot revoke this license but can request content deletion.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
5.1 Harassment & Threats
- ❌ Direct abuse: "I hate you because..." or personal attacks
- ❌ Threats: "I will hurt you" or physical/legal threats
- ❌ Doxxing: Sharing someone's private info (address, phone, photos)
- ❌ Brigading: Coordinated attacks on individuals
- ❌ Hate speech: Slurs, discrimination based on race, caste, religion, gender, sexuality
5.2 Misinformation
- False claims presented as fact
- Misleading about voting/election processes
- False health/safety advice
- Manipulated images/videos without disclosure
5.3 Spam & Manipulation
- Bot-like behavior (automated posting)
- Unsolicited promotions or marketing
- Vote manipulation or artificial engagement boosting
- Pump-and-dump schemes or scams
5.4 Illegal Content
- Drug trafficking or weapons sales
- Child exploitation or CSAM
- Stolen goods or services
- Copyright infringement (except fair use)
5.5 Platform Abuse
- Scraping data without permission
- Hacking, DDoS attacks, or exploits
- Reverse engineering the platform
- Creating fake accounts at scale
5.6 Impersonation
- Posing as another person
- Impersonating organizations or public figures
- Fake verified badges
6. Moderation & Enforcement
6.1 Detection & Review Process:
- Content flagged via user reports or AI detection
- Human mod review within 24 hours
- Decision: Remove / Warn / Allow
- User notified with reason and appeal option

6.3 Your Right to Appeal:
- 48-hour appeal window from moderation notice
- Send appeal via email with explanation
- Senior mod reviews with fresh eyes
- Final decision in 7 days (no further appeals)
7. Mudda Creator Responsibilities
If you raise a Mudda, you agree to:
- Accurate title: No clickbait or exaggeration
- Truthful description: Provide genuine context and evidence
- Correct scope: Select appropriate scope (local, national, global)
- No manipulation: Don't artificially boost votes or engagement
- Leadership integrity: No incentivizing votes with rewards
- Transparency: Disclose conflicts of interest
8. Content Moderation & Appeals
See Section 6 for full moderation details. All decisions are made by trained humans after review.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 "As-Is" Service:
The Mudda Platform is provided "as-is" without any warranty. We are not liable for:
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Data loss (though we back up regularly)
- Third-party user actions (harassment, misinformation)
- Internet outages or network issues
- Your deleted or lost content (backup within 30 days)
9.2 Cap on Liability:
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us (currently ₹0 for free users). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9.3 Indemnification:
You agree to defend and indemnify Mudda against claims arising from your content or actions on the platform.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our IP:
- Mudda name, logo, trademarks
- Code, design, algorithms, database
- All protected by copyright and trademark law
10.2 Your IP:
You retain copyright to your content. Your license to Mudda is non-exclusive (you can use your content elsewhere).
10.3 Takedown Notices (DMCA / Copyright):
- Copyright claims: We remove flagged content pending review
- Counter-notice process available
- False claims result in account termination

12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law:
These terms are governed by Indian law, specifically the jurisdiction of District Courts in Mumbai.
12.2 Dispute Process:
- Email support@mudda.app with your issue
- 30-day negotiation period
- If unresolved: Arbitration (Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act)
12.3 Arbitration Details:
- Location: Mumbai, India (for India users)
- Single arbitrator (mutually agreed)
- Decision is binding and final
- Cost-sharing between parties
13. Termination of Account
13.1 We Can Terminate If:
- Violation of these terms
- Repeated harassment or hate speech
- Illegal activity on the platform
- Account inactive for 2 years (30-day notice given)
13.2 You Can Terminate:
- Delete your account anytime (Settings → Delete Account)
- Data purged within 90 days
- Cannot recover after deletion
13.3 Upon Termination:
- Access to posts stopped
- You can request data export (within 30 days)
- Content archived for 7 years (for legal purposes)
- No refunds (free platform)
14. Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms periodically
- Major changes: 30-day notice via email
- Continued use = acceptance of new terms
- Archives of previous versions: mudda.app/terms-archive
